Objective: To create a live interactive event that would grow a loyal audience.

Strategy: As associate publisher at Explorer Publishing I engineered and delivered a large-scale marketing campaign. This supported the release of a new range of activity guides for the UAE and Oman, and increased our customer base by over 300%, while creating key brand ambassadors.

Delivery: The annual ‘Search for the Ultimate UAE Explorer’ attracted over 10,000 applicant. The multi-stage process culminated in a weekend challenge where one winner received a lifestyle prize worth AED 500,000 including an apartment, car, flights to London and New York, and a weekly free experience for the Ultimate Explorer blog. I was responsible for the concept and creative, media relationships and sponsorship (working with Sol, Virgin, Toyota and more), and managed the complete rollout of this three-month campaign.
